With Protection Plus, an extension package that can be added to Classic and Classic Plus series water heaters, you can extend your parts and labor warranty by 4 years.
Warranty extensions you get from the chain stores don’t actually add years to the warranty. They only cover labor for the original number of years. So think of it this way– regular warranty is 6 years parts, and one year labor, and with their upgrade it’s 6 years for both parts and labor. With our extended warranty, you add an additional 4 years. So 6 becomes 10, and 8 becomes 12 years.
